Irreverent half-hour comedies
where the underdogs
OH NO, IT'S NANCE
An opinionated marketing exec with out-of-the-box ideas and an ass that just won’t quit (her words) struggles to keep her ragtag work family happy and safe from demanding clients and a nefarious new hire.
When the hypocritical haters in her small Southern town turn her twins' 8th birthday party into a downright disaster, a mild-mannered professional organizer sets out to fix her life one pesky problem at a time to give her kids a better start to life than she had.
AMERICA THE BOOTYFUL
After she accidentally nabs the top spot producing a popular reality show, an
idealistic aspiring actress/activist battles conniving producers, an idiotic CEO and her own
out-of-touch expectations to change the problematic show – before it changes her.
Kyle Collins lives in New York City
and writes half-hour broad comedies about underdogs that bite back against what society expects from them and allows for them. How could he not? Growing up gay in the South sidelined him at first, but it showed how everyone faces the pressure to conform to something.
He believes that tension can be absolutely delicious
(when it doesn’t, you know, kill you). Kyle studied screenwriting at Mercer University in Georgia and playwriting at Oxford University in England before working as a journalist and marketing strategist. His half-hour comedy pilot, ORGANIZE THIS!, was a semi-finalist in the Outstanding Screenplays competition.
